Our Art Gallery

Since our start in 2008, we have maintained an arts-focused curriculum and held an annual exhibition featuring our pupils’ works in venues such as the Singapore Art Museum and the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The year of 2020, our annual art show was held online for the first time following the Covid-19 pandemic. Featured below are selected artworks from our past exhibitions from 2008 to 2020.

The Bouquet (2020)

The Bouquet centres on the theme of inclusivity in diversity. For instance, the artwork Wings Of Time (featured above) from a group of kindergarten 1 (K1) children features leaves painted and put together to show inclusiveness and diversity of ideas.

Retro + Toy Factorie (2019)

Showcasing vibrant interpretations of the past as seen through the eyes and mind of young children, Retro + Toy Factorie celebrates our students artistic journey as these young artists indulge you with commentaries of their creative ideas and a walk through of the art processes.

A Bug’s World (2018)

This was indeed a very meaningful way to mark 10th years of Arts Kidz.
In line with our teaching, Arts Kidz emphasised the importance of caring and returning to society. We auctioned and sold the art pieces and all the donations went to the Children’s Cancer Foundation

Around the World (2017)

Young children see the world as a playground and a canvas. What matters is the thrill of creating something beautiful. Our Around the world in 60 days arts show featured mixed media, sculpture, paintings, textile art and origami works.

Changes (2017)

The processes and skills involved in many of the art pieces in this year’s Art Show led the children in so many explorations around the concept of change. From investigations into light and shadow, changes in time and metamorphosis, the excitement of fireworks and changes to the night sky.

Animals In Jeopardy (2016)

The big idea for the Art Show 2016 was to focus our learning on “Animals in Jeopardy”. Through the teachers’ guidance and by the curiosity and interest of the children, the little ones started to have an interest in many topics related to our theme including the plight of circus animals, the first drawings of animals by prehistory man, the fate of the last white rhinoceros and more.

World of Inventions (2015)

With the help of our generous families participating in the arts show auction, our World of Inventions arts show helped raise funds for the less fortunate in Nepal. The arts show featured our students take on famous inventions.

Dressed to Impress (2014)

Young children see the world as a playground and a canvas. What matters is the thrill of creating something beautiful. Our Around the world in 60 days arts show featured mixed media, sculpture, paintings, textile art and origami works.

Our Garden City (2013)

In a celebration of Singapore as a garden city, the students were introduced to Pablo Picasso through three of his more notable periods (the blue period, the rose period and the neoclassical period). Inspired by Picasso’s great works, the students explored the use of colours and emotions in their works.
