The processes and skills involved in many of the art pieces in this year’s Art Show led the children in so many explorations around the concept of change. From investigations into light and shadow, changes in time and metamorphosis, the excitement of fireworks and changes to the night sky.

The magic of transforming everyday items into creative art pieces, ignited both children and their families sense of wonder and imagination. Natural items, lunch box rubbish, calendars and trash took on a new life in the children’s capable hands. Books opened their pages to reveal miniature worlds within them. Children became photographers, print and textile makers, artists and constructors.
